My child

My beautiful child with eyes like midnight,
do you know how much I love you?

Do you know that's me who whispers
I love you each night as you sleep?

Do you know how my heart swells
with pride at the sound of your laughter?

Do you know I'll always love you
no matter what?

Do you know how you made
all my dream come true?

Do you know sweet child of mine
how full you've made my heart?

Do you know my precious child
what hopes and dreams I have for you?

Do you know child of mine how I
love you with every breath I take?
My sweet child you have given
me more than you'll ever know.

You have given me
reason to believe.

I'm a different person
because of you.

I'm a mommy.

I'm. Your. Mommy.

Soooo sweet.
I always smile when I see pictures of you and the kids, you can just see the love you have for them in the pictures.
I also think it sound like you are a fun and crazy mom who will be sure your kids do not grow up to be little hell raiser monsters. But know the meaning of fun.
Keep up the good work mom.

I think that you are such a beautiful lady with two precious daughters. I cannot wait until I receive the referral for my daughter. I hope that she can be as happy as your daughters! Melissa

So true Mr. Brian. We spoil them with love. Not things. I have witnessed some many spoiled rotten bad ass kids that it makes my stomach hurt. I despise it with everything in me. I hope if I don't do anything else, that I raise little ladies who are always respectful and true to themselves. One can hope.....

And, yes being that I was a hell raiser, I'll be keeping a watchful eye at all times. lol.

Please tell me you took that picture this summer and not this week. Cuz if you have weather like that and kids running around in skirts that's just not fair! Loved the poem!

This is beautiful! How sweet and lovely. The words and the pictures are fantastic! You should frame this and give this to them as they get older.

...in reply to your question, a LOT of small businesses here are going under due to increasing power costs since we use a pretty antiquated oil burning power plant for light. They just can't afford the power bills. It's sad, really. The housing crunch didn't hurt us down here as all of our financing is local, but we are all nervous about the economic crisis. We don't make ANY revenue if people can't afford to go on vacation. That is life on a small island though and we will survive!
