Daddy's watch

Sunday's are daddy's day with the goooyls. Alone. I've often wondered what really goes on when I'm not around with my eagle eye . Me and fm discussing how the day went tonight. Boy was this a real eye opener......

Me: "So, how were the girls today"? Translation: I don't care to know if they were good or bad deal with it...

Fm: "Ummm, ok. Katie was a pain, but I just left her alone".

Me: "What do you mean"? Me looking at him with a puzzled look on my face.

Fm: "I gave the girls one of those expensive treats, you know the ones from the health food store that cost a weeks salary. heavy emphasis on cost.....

Me: "Mmmm, yeah what happened"? Could sense there was more to come...

Fm: "Katie unwrapped it and took one bite walked to the trash can and tossed it and said "Icky"!

Me: "Too funny. What did you do"? I laughed out loud--which fm did not think was funny.

Fm: "I fetched it out of the trash can and gave it to Abbey, she loved it"!

Me: "You didn't". I threw up in my mouth...I could see it now..."dumpster divin daddy".....

There you have it......

lol It must be a testosterone thing! Jeremy still believes in the 5 second rule even though he saw that proved that is not true on Myth Busters. lol
I love those skirts!!!!!!!!!!!! The girls look darling and their boots, too cute! I need to make some skirts. I have been thinking about it and now you have inspired me. Now all I need is the time.

Ewwwww, so gross, but so funny. I agree it's a guy thing, the weirdos! LOVE the boots!

Oh you see that is totally something I woudl have done. The 5 second let alone the 5 minute rule is nonexistent in my home. Mia's favorite activity is picking up dropped food on the floor. I know it seems gross but I like to think of it as insuring her healthy immune system :)

but they're still breathing right? And you get to escape, I mean leave right? They could eat the contents of our trashcan for supper for all I care, if it means I don't have to worry about a meal for them all. LOL.

Oh honey, that ain't so bad.
They are so cute!

That is hillarious! So happy to see you visit my blog. I went private for a while, but decided that I missed hearing from a lot of my blogger friends. so I opened it up again.

Ha ha! I think FM should blog about his Sundays on his blog... you know, the one he never updates???

Personally, I would have done the same thing (depends what was in the trash under it of course!) DH will freak if a dry piece of popcorn hits the couch - 'don't let her eat that!' Are you kidding me? LOL Did you go with me to China? Besides... kids need a certain amount of germs and stuff, can't keep their environment too clean... then they'll get sick when they encounter any germ! (okay, that theory works for me!)

Stylin boots - you must have a pair to match?

Love those boots too (and the story of course). Is it just me or are the girls looking so grown up these days? And cuter than ever!

Eh, they don't parent like Moms do, but Dad's love the kids as much as we do...

I'd say this is a small price to pay for a day to yourself, right?

Gotta agree with crazylady...you didn't have to deal so I would be glad LOL

Men do crack me up though

Maybe it is a good thing to be left in the dark about what the girls get up to on a Sunday... as for where I am in FL... Melbourne... on the coast...

Dad's are just the best. Perhaps the item was in the trash for less than the 10 second rule. I wonder too what goes on when Malia spends the day with Baba!
