The moment we met

I always knew.
It was my one desire.
I didn't know though

how far I'd go.

A journey laced with emotion.
Anxiety. Doubt. Exhaustion. Love.
One never to be cloned.
How could it.

I laughed out loud.
I cried until I sobbed.

I discovered what it meant to love.
Unconditionally.

I was consumed with happiness.
I was rich with adulation.
You melted my hardened heart.

I stood and gazed upon your beauty.

I stood and stroked your soft skin.
I couldn't believe you were mine.

You gave me more than you know.
You gave me my soul.
You gave me my life.

I know now know what love is.
I know the heartache of love.
I know you're all I need.

My heart smiles now.
Every. Single. Day.
You are my joy.

You saved me my sweet.
You made me human.
You taught me compassion.

I love you forever.
I love you my precious girls.
You are my life, my love.
My Always.

Your mommy.

Note: A few snappies of my "unhappy and sad" children......I only wish I looked this "unhappy or sad" everyday! This is what I live for.... see for yourself.

Those were the truest words I have heard. I feel the same way about Natalie. I thank GOD every day for blessing us with our children.

If this keeps up Rony you'll have to cut me a cheque for all the kleenex I have had to use this last couple of posts. LOL.
That was so beautiful, moving and we can all identify with every word and emotion.
Love the photos, they are growing before our eyes!!

What a beautiful and heartfelt post. It's absolutely amazing how children touch our hearts. And you're doubly (sp?) blessed. You deserve it. :)

Isn't amazing how nothing in this world will ever be the same? How having them has given a new meaning to life. Beautiful post and gorgeous children.

Ronnie, Your daughters are beautiful...
Your poem touched my heart as it was an echoe of my soul. Only a Mother who has gone through the journey that we have to hold our children in our arms can truly understand the depth of your words.
Simply beautiful.

You must not be taking good care of them to have such "unhappy" children. :)
By looking at these and other photos- you can see a definite personality in each. One likes to slightly "upstage" the other for the spotlight. One seems to be more of the risk taker while the other claulates more.
Oh honey - you are going to need therapy when they are in their teens!
Love ya!

I love your poem. It is so true and how do you explain it someone who hasn't taken the step into motherhood yet? It's overwhelming and life changing. Your children are everything.
