Top Ten values I hope to teach my Children

Things I hope to teach my girls or at least give them something to think about.

  1. Money does not buy class. Contrary to popular belief. It will however get you out of jail as proven by Paris Hilton.

  2. Money does not grow on trees, rather in daddy’s wallet. Ok, so this is not true.....it's where I go when I need money though.

  3. Always remember, Make smart choices and don't embarrass your momma. I see everything!

  4. Beauty is just skin deep, but real beauty can sometimes be found far beneath the surface.

  5. Don’t judge. Period. That job is already taken last I heard.

  6. Individuality is a lost art. It's ok to be different.

  7. Believe in yourself. If you don’t no one else will.

  8. Don’t’ be in such a rush to grow up. You’re only a child once.

  9. Allow yourself to dream. To dream is to believe.

  10. Be proud of who you are. Always.

Well, some of these I wish I was able to live by...
Not sure I want to teach my children #2, though...

Yep #1 is an important one. Brittany Spears is the best example of it! Like I always say, you can take the girl our of white trash land but you can't take the white traxh out of the girl!

Everytime there is a news story about a person stealing money from their company or killing their pregnant wife, I turn to my husband and ask "Don't they know their mammas are watching this?" Rule #3 is my favorite.

I lke your top 10. I'm a huge believer in dreams, keep them always, they wont stay dreams that way. And indiviuality is HUGE in my books and also the world is just waiting to knock you down, always believe in yourself. The world reflects your beliefs

Great list Rony! I like them all, start while they're young (instilling values) and they'll learn quickly. Good idea to write them down. What a good mom you are to your girls!

Personal fav is money coming from dad's wallet. I am teaching Glenys it grows in Grandad's garden.

I guess I should "clue" the girls in that money doesn't really grow in daddy's wallet. It grows in Nana's! ha ha...
