S'plain it to me...
What the heck is the difference between 24 months and 2T? I just came back from a day of shopping and am a bit perplexed with the whole sizing thing..... Could they make it a standard across the board? No need for all the guessing.
If anyone out there knows I would love to be enlightened.

HA--when you find out, let me know :)
Have you "googled" that one?
OK I looked it up :) here's the answer....
"24 month size clothing isn't as long in the torso as 2 Toddler. Toddler clothes have more room for the pooch of a tummy toddlers tend to have."
Bridget
The 'T' in 2T is for TALL (24 months). Larger. Dumb. Two sizes for one age.
My kids are in 3T and 4T pants.
Well I guess you don't need my input since the answer was given. Hope you can see my blog again soon since I am so gosh darn funny! lol
24 months usually snap in teh crotch as well. Oh it gets better. Evidently there is a BIG difference between 4T and plain old 4. MA is still barely in a 3T but I was educated in sizes the other day!

I thought T stood for toddler....
I wonder what kids eat as well.
You could go over to the Salsa blog and find out. She posted the same question a few weeks back.
LMAO
I've always thought that 24 months has more room in the rump for a diaper, where the 2t is slimmer there, assuming the kiddo is potty trained, and wearing underwear. 24 month tops often have snaps in the crotch, for same reason.
Do I win a prize if I'm right?
Christine
Yeah, me too.....
I bought the girls a bunch of jammies 2T and Abbey looks like she is busting out of them! Looks like the chunky monkey needs 3T's. My girls have short stocky legs... Not long legged like yours dear friend.
Thanks all for the tid-bit....I think we are definitely out of the 24 months though...
