Little snippets

I was tagged the tall leggy one and her too to tell some shocking unforeseen things about me. Here goes.

The rules are to link the person who sent this to you and leave a comment on their blog so their readers can visit yours. Post the rules on your blog. Share 7 bizarre/wierd facts about yourself. Tag 7 random people at the end of your post, linking their blog. Let each person know that they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

1. All love watching Law and Order. ALL DAY. Love Chris Meloni. More than Bill.

2. I check out shoes and watches worn by men. (bet you thought I was going to say packages! --use to).

3. I am a freaky neat freak. Any surprises there? Everything has to be cleaned weekly, including the car. And kids.
4. Creeps me out men that wear necklaces and bracelets. Too Miami Vice for me. Just a watch and a ring.

5. I can't stand people who chew with their mouth open or worse talk while eating! Grosses me out.

6. I had a tumor removed when I was 20 years old. Went to the doctor for a scheduled visit and was in the hospital two days later.

7. I have a tatoo and got it way before it was cool. I would get another one if it wouldn't freak sweet cheeks out.

8. I'm a neurotic about how the toilet paper is put on the roll. Everyone knows paper must roll over as opposed to under. I've been known to switch the roll when I visit others too.

So, you want to know what the big secret is that I've been avoiding speaking of...no, I did not get an enhancement as someone guessed. Good golly sweet cheeks couldn't take anymore teasing...no, we are not adopting and I am not moving. Yet. As much as I would like to move further south. But, I have accepted a new job! Huge opportunity. It's no secret that I've been pursuing the ideal career/family situation. Well, hot-dog I found it. Monday-Friday position.... 8:30am-5:30pm. No traveling the capital beltway. Ever. Again. Three weeks paid va-kay, plus 11 paid holidays, AND every other Friday off in the summer! Did I mention how excited I am?! Oh, you ask what is this incredible job? Vice President senior recruiter for a Physician's Recruitment Firm however we only place neurosurgeon's and neurologist. Very specialized. In my previous life (before real estate) I was a Regional Director for an executive placement firm. I feel as if the weight of the world has been lifted. I forgot to mention you should be expecting us (that would be the entire family, dog, kids, au pair, and sweet cheeks) to drop in on you for a visit. Sen, Cindy, and Daleea be afraid..... we may never leave! I like my sheets to be at least 1000 thread count!

The Nominees......

Well, hooty-hoo. What a surprise! Let me, ummmm digging for my notes, ahhh, yes there they are tucked safely between "the girls" say "thank you for awarding me the coveted Blogging with a purpose award"! Does this mean you like me?! I am flattered that the oh-so talented and inspiring Daleea at Jewls of the heart and Christy who is waiting so patiently to bring her babies home and Lil Sofia's momma. who said and I quote "if I was a kid, I would definitely want a cool mom like her" nominated me for this award and lastly Sammie at Just Keep Swimming. I'm honored to be honored in the same circle as so many wonderfully inspiring people. I'd like to think I have purpose. I started this bloggity blog thing last March. Or was it last April?! It all began as a way for me to journal my day to day activities and in the process raise my twins. But it has grown into something far more. I have gained so many warm and wonderful friends here and in the process I've discovered I'm having a pretty damn good time! Thanks for reading. Even us "old" babes have a purpose....

So, the rules are: Always rules....

1. Awarded parties must nominate five people who have not received the award.
2. The blogs that receive the award must serve some purpose.
3. In their post about the award they need to link back to the original entry.
4. Awarded parties must post the award banner on their site. The banner must remain linked to Eric Novak's site.

You know what they say about rules. They were meant to be broken. I'm flying my freak flag today and I'm making my own rules. These are the blogger's who make me think, laugh, and cry. Some days all in one reading. Most have already been nominated but there special to me.

Sennie at search and destroy is my twin in every way. In every way (right....) but the smarter one. It started off slow but has become a lifelong affair. My leading lady. She is who I seek out when I need to vent,(scream) a shoulder to cry on, or ask advise about anything. She's my Erma Bombeck. I look forward to her posts everyday with anticipation as if the first day of school. She tickles me. Everyday is something new. It may be funny, thought provoking or something she is fiercely passionate about. She has no fear of retribution for her beliefs or opinions. I admire her most for this. When it comes to her beloved children and fm she truly is a "Superstar"! You rock.

Daleea at Jewels of my heart. She won my heart. She was last year's sleeper who has become this year's run away at the box office. Rumor has it she is up for an Oscar. (prepare you acceptance speech...) She has allowed us to press our faces up against her window and peep inside of her world. She has heart. Damn does she have heart. The girl is the most talented of anyone I know. She is the new face on my blog. Yes, she designed it. I am pressing her to design for others. She and I have spent many nights up late laughing until we cry. She is my favorite children's designer. Again, another talent this lady has. Oh, and her photography. Amazing! And oh, there is the children's book too.... She is a sweetheart and oh so loved by so many. She is always there with a kind word or a hug. A portrait of good and a gift that I treasure knowing. Thank you Daleea for stepping into my craziness. I promise not to bring you to the dark side.

Christine at Sopia's Mom. Now this lady has one smokin hot hubby. So it would be fair to say I check her site more often than any. Obsessed? Umm maybe. She leads such a charmed life. Country living at it's finest. Simple and pure. With exception of the undesirables down the lane. (right Chris) She has such a cute feisty spirit. Warm and witty with a touch of innocence peppered with a touch of snark. She shares such a magical relationship with her children. The tales she weaves of the kids, dogs, and the guinea's keeps(and Him) me on the edge of my seat. She's another one who has an eye for photography too. Magnificent! Another blogger buddy who should set-up shop and charge a fee for her services. She is one talented lady.

Cindy at Double lucky. I feel fortunate to have Cindy in my life. We are two 46 year old mom's raising twin daughters with careers! She and her handsome hubby adopted twin baby girls from China too. And she has a really big career that requires her to travel. All over the world. Did I mention a really big career. She has a crazier schedule than me. She and I have spent many a night on the phone cheering on one another or finding a solution to the recent crisis. We lean on one another for support. I'm so glad she's in my life. She has the sweetest disposition and the cutest belly laugh. I can't wait until the next time we hook-up.

Sammie at Just Swimming. She has had a few challenges put before her that would make the strong cry in pain. But yet she manages to always look for the positive and wear a smile. I've never heard her utter an unfavorable comment regarding anything. Her inner strength is so inspiring. I applaud her for her determination and drive. And once again I find myself in the company of yet another friend who has an artistic gift for designing. She creates gorgeous tabbie blankets in beautiful colors and fabrics. Plus I love the way she writes. She can tell such a story. I can say I had the pleasure of meeting Sammie this summer. She is as real in person as she is through her blog. We yaked and chatted like we had known one another forever. Some people just have a way like that. Thanks for being there babe.

Merry Hoopla

I was tagged by her to do the "Holiday Hoopla". You asked for it and now you got it.

Holiday Hoopla

here are the rules:
1. List 12 random things about yourself that have to do with Christmas

2. Please refer to it as a 'hoopla' and not the dreaded 'm'-word. I'm assuming she means "magical"

3. You have to specifically tag people when you're done.None of this "if you're reading this, consider yourself tagged" stuff is allowed.

4. Please try and do it as quickly as possible. The Christmas season will be over before we know it. Got the rules?

Here's my list:

1. As a kid we spent the coveted of all holidays celebrating at my great grandmother's home. You know "the big one". It was truly a fun time and boy does it bring back warm memories. It was by far (back then) my truly favorite of all holidays. My cousins, aunts, and uncles would come from all over the country. I can smell the home made bread whaffing from my grandmother's oven as if it were yesterday. Oh and her beautifully set tables. There were many. It was as if looking at a Norman Rockwell painting. The best of fun times. Sadly when she and my great grandfather passed so did the big family gatherings.

2. I remember so vividly racing around and rushing to get to candle light service. On time. I always had a sense of peace when we lit our candles as we sang "Silent Night". It's been many, many years since I've been to candle light service.....

3. I loved the "cheer" in the air during that "hoopla" time of year! How I wish I could turn the clock back 20+ years! It was such a different time. I hate what it has become...so commercial...

4. As I got older my girl friends would meet Christmas Eve after an exhausting day of shopping. We would exchange gifts and share a bottle of wine. We would laugh and talk for hours. We still get together once a year for our annual girls trip. And boy do we still laugh..topics have changed a bit....

5. Before fh I was married to another. We had a big tree trimming party at our home every year with our back door neighbor's and their kids. T and I would sip on the Bailey's as we decorated the tree and laugh until we cried. She was a southern girl living in the Midwest and finishing her degree and was taking Spanish. Have you had the pleasure of hearing a southern belle speaking Spanish?! Yes, she made me laugh but because she was so sex crazed. Stay on topic, anyway, as the evening ticked by and the more tipsy we got we started throwing the icicles on the tree. Funny how the next morning it didn't look as beautiful as it did the night before!

6. I use to love nothing better than going to my parent's for the holiday. You see my mom was/is related to the Griswold's! Santa didn't need Rudolph to find their home. I could see the "glow" from Atlanta! Ahhh, but it was beautiful. Fh has always said when we had kids he was going to do the same thing......

7. One year my sister Val and I found our gifts and unwrapped them. We some how were discovered and mom threatened to take the gorgeous watches back! We never snooped again. Really.....

8. One of my most special, special years was 1988. We were with my in-laws. (ex). My mil was such a great cook. She made everything with her own hands and grew everything in her back yard. Anyway, she use to get the biggest thrill out of the gifts we would give her. It's not that it was anything flashy, or expensive, but it was always something that reminded me of her. Something I knew she would love. It was a stuffed animal, but not just any stuffed animal. It was a giant chef rat! She laughed so hard it made me smile. I always did the shopping..Still do.

9. Now that we don't live in the same state as our families, we celebrate with friends and their families. Everyone brings a dish and we just mingle and have a good time. My girls love going to P & B's because they have the biggest toy room of all!

10. Watching my dad's face as my mom opened his gift. He would go out every year in the ninth hour to look for the perfect gift for the woman he loved so much. Oh, don't think he was doing this last minute. He always had a mapped out plan and knew what he was searching for. Her most favorite was the crystal nativity scene. She has cherished that the most.

11. When I lived down south we spent the morning of "the big one" at my sister's home. We would crawl out of bed at oh-dark hundred and into the car still in p.j.'s to watch her two boys open their gifts. I can still hear the laughter in the air and the look on my sister's face. Her boys were not the "studs" they are today, but damn were they the cutest little boys I'd ever seen! She would plead with the boys to open all the gifts. After all everyone wanted them to open "their" gift. They were perfectly content with just the one gift. She would make this ginormous delicious breakfast and we would watch as the children played with the one favorite toy of the day...... Funny they're still like that at 16 and 19! They have never wanted for much.

12.
Now that we have our own children I wanted to have our own traditions. On the "eve" of the big one we stay up watching animated movies with the girls really, really late. Yes, they get to stay up just this once....and I sooo enjoy the movies. Probably as much as the girls if not more! We stay in our p.j. Christmas day all day... Well until we have to leave the house.

They you have it.... I know it's late but I tag Jewels, and Christine

Nice does matter

Me? Are you kidding? There must be some mistake. I'm speechless. Beyond belief. Not only did this amazing lady nominate me for the "nice" award but so did she! Were they both thinking pity because she forgot about me. Lol. There are so many more deserving blogger buds who are far more worthy than I for such a prestigious award. But, I proudly accept(taking my award and running) this award and will do my best to honor it. This for me may mean cutting my tongue off biting my tongue. Most of us met here through a common bond. Adoption. Which has led to friendships and in some cases a lifeline. I have enjoyed getting to know each and every one of you. I have cried your tears, felt your pain and yes, even laughed at your silly antics. Yes, we're friends. For those of you still waiting on your referral I am here to hold your hand, vent, cry on my shoulder or lend support. I too remember the pain and anguish like it were yesterday. Some days were more than I could bear. Thank goodness for her. Yes, I know she would like you to think she is one tough cookie. BUT, she is tender hearted(shut-up Sen, it's my blog and my story) and one special lady. She has a heart bigger than anyone I've ever met. I have listened (well, not so good at times) and learned so much from her. Oh, look at me getting all mushy and gushy. I would like to give back something by "paying it forward" as she did. I'm here for you who are "in-waiting". I'm here if you need a friend....I'm here if you just want to talk. I'd like to pass this award to:

Isabella's mommy and daddy - Because she professes to be such ahuge fan supporter of mine?. No, that is not the reason I am nominating her. Although she does always leave the sweetest messages on my blog. Insert: Big grin. She is going through something pretty awful right now and she more than ever could use all of our love and support. Her dear beloved grandfather is terminally ill. I know her heart is aching with grief. I think I fell in love with her when I read the passion and love she feels for her grandfather. I cried when I read her post. I'm asking all of you to stop by her site and leave some encouraging words. We're here for one another. Good and bad times. We stick together. We love you girl.

Lil Bubble Queen - Because she is so dang committed to being a great mom, wife and friend. I can hear the sheer joy jump off the screen while reading her posts. I know that if I had the opportunity to met her she would be that sugary and sweet. *wink*. She always has such kind words for everyone. I love this most about her.

Coughchick - She so "gets me". She is almost as demented as me! She was one of the first to come to my aide after the evil "drama queen" blogger de-faced me with a public lynching. Thank you my dear. What a brave soul you were. She has a wickedly funny sense of humor and is so much like me. ( I know--not so good---ha ha). What you see is what you get. There is no phony in Coughchick. I know how desperately she longs to have her own little Chinese Princess. I know this is one of her greatest desires. Your time will come my dear. Be patient. He will come around. I just know he will. I hope he does.

My dear sweet adorably cute(oh so smart too) friend Cindy. Gosh, where do I begin here?! She is the sweetest, kindest person I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Her children and oh my gosh even her dh are just like her. Yes, yes true. She is electric. High energy. Laughs so easily. Totally enchanting. Did I mention she has this oh so huge big career job?!! We connected on so many levels. Oh man, she is a great source of support for me as she too is a career working twin mom with a big ass job and lots of responsibility and even more stress. Did I say stress? I love that I can pick up the phone and call her anytime. She has such a way of making everything seem ok. Even when it's not. You so "rock" girl.

I nominate her because she gave me a new leash on life. Figuratively speaking of course. She ever so gently asked if I would like her to snaze things up on my blog. Wow. Really?! Did she really want to offer her services? And to someone she didn't really know? She has always been there with a kind word. She exemplifies what family is all about. She adores (really adores) her children and of course that big strapin' hunky husband of hers. Yum-delicious... Oops wasn't supposed to say that, but it's true and she knows it... She is a total sweetheart. I count her as one of my oh-so special friends. I do hope the ankles are healing nicely. You are a true gem. Your family should count themselves as very lucky.

Last but not least beautiful Daleea. She reached out to me during a time where I needed someone to "understand" the depth of my sadness. She too has experienced some of the same pain and loss as me. She was able to lend me some insight as only someone who also had suffered. She is such a loving tender soul. It shows in the gorgeous photos on her site. I know she would never say(or gasp think) an unkind or harsh word about anyone. She is truly a good person. The best. I look up to her but more importantly I admire her for her strong sense of faith.

I know she has already been nominated and rightfully so. But I want her to know how much she means to me and how lucky I am to have her in my life. (you didn't really think you were going to slide under the radar on this one did you?) She has always been there for me. Always. I know first hand what she is about. She is compassionate. G-d is she compassionate. Loyal. Dedicated. Sincere. Driven. Most of all true. True dear friend. You want her as your friend. Trust me. She is so dear to my heart and oh so dang beautiful. Thank you for being such a great friend.

Of course there are numerous other's that make life seem so much easier to bear. Thank you all for being such awesome people. You make me smile. Everyday.

You want a piece of me?

Just so I understand, you want to know what? Lol. I thought you knew everything there was to know about me. BUT, nooooo, I was mistaken. Little miss Sam at Just Keep Swimming hit me up for a middle name meme. Here are the rules and regulations:

You have to post these rules before you give the facts.
1) Players, you must list one fact that is somehow relevant to your life for each letter of your middle name. If you don’t have a middle name, use the middle name you would have liked to have had.
2) When you are tagged you need to write your own blog post containing your own middle name game facts.
3) At the end of your blog post, you need to choose one person for each letter of your middle name to tag. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

My middle name is Lynn and so is my youngest sister's! Yeah, kind of like this is my brother Daryl and my other brother Daryl.

L: for Luminous. I am like a beam of sunshine. Seriously. I tackle each day with a positive fresh outlook. Rarely ever do I find myself depressed or down in the dumps. The glass is always half full or running over.

Y: for Young. Although I may be pushing 50 and sometimes looking like it I don't feel old at all. My girls will keep me young at heart. Either that or my plastic surgeon!

N: for Near Sighted. I am blind as a bat. I am legally blond I mean blind without my granny glasses or contacts in. I tripped and fell on the dog the other night getting up to go to the loo. Thank g-d it was only the dog I thought it was a burglar! Scared the crap out of both of us. I never leave the house without a set of contacts on me and a pair of glasses. I stash glasses all over the house like my wine!

N: for Non-stop. Pepe LaPue on speed. No, A freight train in constant motion. I'm all over the place. A million miles a minute and I don't stop until my head hits the pillow at night. All aboard this bus is leaving the terminal. Now, what was it I was doing?!?!

I now tag:
Dougle Lucky

Get in the car!

Pet Names

Yes, I'm it again and again and again. I've been asked by crazygirl and jewels to reveal our pet names or nicknames that we call one another. No name calling in this house, only sweet sugary love names drip from our lips. *snort* We do love one another. (don't vomit).

Abbey. The "terminator"! If she's touching it or even looking at it there's pretty good odds that she is going to destroy it'. Crush it! Also we call her our little "bruiser". Poor little Katie doesn't stand a chance when Abbey's in the room. If Abbey wants it Abbey takes it. That's my girl. If she can't take it she bounces Katie on her butt. Katie has gotten wiser to Abbey's Antics and is not as tolerant. ha ha. We also call her "Miss charming Pants" as everyone thinks she's so sweet. Oh if they could only see behind closed doors.....and my favorite pet name for her "Abba-daba-do".

Katie. "Lil Miss Princess I'm not gonna walk cuz someones gonna carry me and I'm way too cute"! She sometimes flat out refuses to walk and will say "carry me mommy". We also call her "peanut, bug, hollywood, and kissy face girl". Also "Katie-did" and my "little buttercup".

Jeff, besides hot daddy, I call him "Boo, Homer, (not hummer) Tigger Bubby Boy all of which are not his name or anyone in his family. Also "Gator Jeff" (for his beloved Gators) He was called Jaffe (spanish for Jeff) while in college. I call him Jeffrey(his name) when I want something. When I'm being real silly "honey pot" or cupcake. Isn't he adorable? Delish!

Me. Princess. It is all about me, right? What else, right?! *snicker* Yep, The name has stuck now, and for years. My friends started the trend and have called me this forever (lovingly)and now my fans do too. I'm sure it has nothing to do with people graveling and waiting on me. A real life IT girl! Bwahaha. I was famous in my "other" life. I like to be taken care of. Not that I grew up as some privileged snob. Oh no, I've just acquired the lifestyle of the rich and famous. Only not so rich now and not so famous. One of my favorites is "Princess Blue Eyes" for my dreamy blue eyes--*snort* although they sort of hang and sag now. Like my ass. Then there's "control freak" "gotta have her way" and "spoiled rotten". In the day I use to get asked "Where's Archie"? Duh, you figure it out. I didn't find it so amusing back then. "My all time favorite is Aphrodite" my airline friends called me this and "sex kitten". Must have been the way I purrrrrr. Darling man oh so affectionately calls me "pork chop" although I don't find it so flattering...There you have it.

Family Foto Fun Friday Challenge #36
Post your pictures on your blog and leave a link and a comment here before 6/29/07.

This week's photo challenge is "Wild Wild West". Want to play? Here are the very simple rules. Ok, I have to fess up we don't have any "wild wild west" fotos of the girls, however someone was good enough to provide fotos of my girls while visiting on her farm, I don't remember these being taken...were we sipping the good stuff? Actually, I don't remember being there either when I think about it. Hmmmm...

Next time we're at our favorite petting farm maybe I'll see if I can get the girls in the saddle! I'm guessing this is what the little monkeys would look like all saddled up and ready to ride! Cute....

Can I see your's?

I've had a notion for quite some time to look through your windows. Ok, not to creep you out, I think there are laws against that. But I am curious to see what's inside the window dressing. So, I've decided I'm going to do my own meme. How's that for taking charge? I'm inviting you to take a peek into the loony bin and in return I get to peer through your windows. Invited. The rules are simple. You post fotos of your crib with a brief description of the room or rooms. Simple. So, please come in and look around. "May I offer you a cool beverage"?

This is the "love" nest where man-boy and woman make "whoppi". Yes, we have a fireplace in our bedroom however we need no heat!

Our Kitchen. This is where I work my "magic". Most meals are eaten here. Depend upon who's home things in the kitchen can get a little warm too.

Daddy's mini guitar collection minus the "Gator". This is where he serenades mommy.

The "man-cave". Gator games are watched from here during season with daddy's "man" friends. Doing what else? Farting watching the "Gators and eating Burrito Brother's taco's(shipped in from Gainesville every season)all while e-mailing one another from their lap tops. Hmmm, maybe lm (loving man) has a blog and hasn't shared with me or an on-line romance?!

Our family room. If you look real hard you can probably find the laptop shoved under the couch! We spend all of our time in this room. Picture was taken b.c. (before children) It never looks like this. Even after cleaning lady..

Our Dining Room. I especially love the chairs as they are ginormous . For my families large curvaceous bum's.

My babies nursery. I love this room the best, when babies are sleeping.....

Vices and Gadgets I can't live without

Well, Christine you asked for it. Be afraid. My list of my vices and gadgets I can't live with out.

My laptop computer. I wouldn't want anything to escape my eagle puss eyes. I so love stalking my favorite blogs. You know who you are.

My magnifiers. Sadly I'm as blind as a bat. I need to put my glasses on to get to the bathroom or to find things "under" the sheets. I have glasses stashed all over the house.

My housekeeper.(she keeps skid marks in dh's skeevies under control) I know, I know yes I'm a princess. True. have no desire to own a vacuum cleaner or a Dye-what or anything else that

might indicate that I know how to use i t. I'm very good at faking that I don't know how to use it. The vacuum cleaner. Get your mind outta the gutter. Stroking it is not anything that has crossed my mind. Of course our housekeeper dresses like this. In his dreams!

My rabbit corkscrew. Need I say more? It is the number one most used appliance in our home. By me.

My razor. No, not that type of razor. My cell. I do all my yakking in the car. That's the only time you will get my undivided attention or I answer the phone. Like crazylady we screen all calls. Most nights too lazy to even do that as we nudge one another and say "no, you get it" and the other one says "no, you get it". Neither one motivated to find the phone. Leave a message.....

Mommies new XM Satellite radio that daddy purchased for Mother's Day. No commercials. Plus I can tune the monkeys out when they're screaming. Love my 70's music.

My digital camera. How else would the "Mamarazzi" get the snappies to the National Enquirer of the cuteness that spews from the lense?

I've been hit!

I've been tagged by Motherhood and other Ramblings for a porch meme. Although my baskets aren't nearly what some are wearing this year or sporting shall I say, it's my little humble abode.

We spend the majority of all of our free time out on our "Barbie" back deck. Note: Girls playing in the water and in my plants.....

Keep it exciting....

In the kitchen that is! Where is your mind?! *snicker* I've been tagged(I hate homework) by crazylady to do a food meme. This my friends is an easy (shut-up-Sen) one for me. I know, I was supposed to do this a week or month ago, but it sorta slipped my mind. No, I didn't loose my mind, I just forgot. I have lots of things rattling around up there. Plus, I'm old. You just wait. Anyway, you can call me "Rachel Ray". I really can whip up just about anything. Well, I don't bake. Ever. Hence the reference to previous blog (ass size). I can burn something as simple as chocolate chip cookies. Strangely enough they are always flat too. (not like my lower region). Go figure. So, I was trying to decide what to "wow" you with and decided I was going to share one of my husband's all time fav's. My special sweet fajitas. This is not a low-cal diet. Hint. hint, Sen........

Rony's "special" Fajitas made with Love

1/2 bottle dry white wine (use something cheap)
Finely grated peel and juice of 2 limes (I add a little more-naturally)
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
1 cup brown sugar
1 t. dried leaf basil (I use fresh-but of course)
1 t. dried dried leaf oregano (I use fresh)
3-4 garlic cloves crushed (you can add more if you like garlic)
4 skinned and boned chicken breast halves
2-3 T. olive oil
8-10 green onions (can use a large yellow or white onion also)
1 Red bell pepper sliced
1 Yellow bell pepper sliced (can also use orange or green although I don't like green bell peppers)
8 flour tortillas, warmed
1 cup dairy sour cream
Avocado chopped
1-2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Prepare marinade for chicken. In a bowl, mix together wine, lime peel and juice, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, basil, oregano and garlic. Slice chicken breast into thin strips. Add to marinade. Mix well and marinate 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally. In a skillet, heat 1 -2 tablespoon of the oil. Add green onions and bell peppers: cook until onions are starting to brown, but the vegetables are still crisp. Remove from skillet and set aside, Drain chicken, reserving marinade.

In a skillet, heat remaining oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken (in several batches, if necessary) and fry quickly until golden-brown. Remove fro pan with a slotted spoon and set aside, Add reserved marinade to pan and boil until thickened. Return chicken and peppers to skillet; mix well until all ingredients are coated. Put tortillas on a plate. Place spoonfuls of chicken mixture in middle of each tortilla; top with sour cream, avocado and cheese. Fold, garnish and serve. Truly delicious!
