Introducing......Mr & Mrs.K.....

I haven't been taken hostage and I'm not vacationing off the coast of Somalia. Although..... there are days it sounds blissful! I've been tied up lounging looking for a job. Yes, I was one of the 2.8 million who have been laid off. I can't say I was too sad about it though. Quite the contrary. I finally got off that dreaded tread mill, although by the looks of my rear end I might consider jumping back on! Note to self: start a fitness schedule.

I've been working on a research paper for school on forensic psychology. Interesting, but wish I were a whole lot younger. If I were to pursue it as a career I'd need a PhD -- and I don't have that kind of time! I have been able to maintain a 90
% in the class. Not bad for an old broad....

But our most exciting news by far has been the wedding of Mai and Wes. They were married January 24, 2009. She was truly the most beautiful bride. Simply breathtaking. And the chicks.....well, they couldn't have been any cuter. Here are some pictures for you to enjoy.

sorry to hear about the lay-off. That sucks.

In these pictures there seems to be a significant height difference between Katie and Abbey - just different posture or have they really grown something like two inches apart?

so beautiful...you and thegirls and the bride are stunning...I don't know how you stand all that gorgeousness!

I worked for a F.P. for a year...she had an interesting job...

perhaps you could apply that knowledge and become a Adoptive Social Worker? We need to weed out more of the CRAZIES that are allowed to adopt! We were lucky to have a decent SW...but I think some of those skills from F.P. would be helpful in that field...don't you!

I thought you were Missing in action-- glad you are back. What a beautiful bride!! I love all the pics and the girls look darling!!

Ya, speaking as a psychology PHD drop out, it is a long rode. I did my masters in clinical psych adn then started my phd and got 1 year into it and realized I was totally sick of psych and dropped out. Luckily, i fell into school psychology and you only needed a masters and it is a great career. I just passed my licensing exam and am now a Licensed Educational Psych-- so now I am doing private practicce as well as my 2 days in the schools. Good field and pays pretty nice. Check it out!!!

Hugs,

Chrsity :)
