Count Down

We're down to the wire with the finish line in sight. For those of you who follow me, you'll just have to pardon my ranting. THIS IS IMPORTANT. Not only to me, but to our country. John McCain's race for the White House is looking like yet another Derby win slipping away...so close ... but yet so far ...far away.... and all on account of his own agenda. Watching McCain destroy his shot at winning the election has been painful. Instead of strength and courage he has achived nothing but turning his campaign into a joke due to his continued racial slurs and innuendo's. John McCain has yet to discuss how he is going to fix the economy. Why? Because he has no plan. Interestingly enough I don't pity him. I loathe him. Yes, I said that. John McCain is responsible for spoon feeding his supporters into believing that Obams was connected with terrorist. He.Was.Eight.Years.Old. Sounds crazy when you say it out loud. It.Is.Crazy! I dated a guy 30+ years ago who's dad had ties (allegedly) with questionable people. Hmmm, maybe sweet thing should have vetted me properly?! Questioning his religious beliefs. What the flip people. Why does it matter if he's Buddhist, Jewish, Muslim, Kabalah or Hindu. Or whatever religion he wants to be. Whatever happened to freedom of religion? The fundamentalist Christians scare the shit out of me. One step away from Waco with their half baked ideas. Calling him a baby killer. So easily led. Like sheep. Ive never seen such an out pour of self-righteous, judgmental, angry people in my life! Proclaiming their love of their g-d on one hand, while professing their hate for gays, those of color and those who worship or believe differently from them. It really makes me sad for our children. It.Makes.Me.Sad.For.My.Children. Unfortunately that hate continues to breeds itself. Some of those angry people have been allowed to adopt children too. Internationally. I can only imagine what are they teaching their children. We need to remember, we are all g-d's creation. Please, do yourself a favor and do you own research. Fox News does not qualify as newsworthy nor does Bill O'reilly! Crack open a book. Don't be so closed minded to think you know everything. Check out Barack's web-site if you dare. http://www.barackobama.com/index.php For those of you who are not computer savvy it's user friendly. Click, click, click. You may just learn something too. No, I don't think Barack has all the answers, but I do think he is our best shot at bringing our country back together as one. I find him inspirational. He spells family to me. I respect that. I respect him. John McCain is not a maverick. He is a warmonger. If he is elected he and Sarah Palin spell national disaster. We need Hope more than ever!

Update of the recent chain of events associated with the McCain/Palin campaign. It's like a train wreck you just can't tear yourself from......bad reality.....

  • Palin's hometown newspaper endorses Barack! --- "...few who have worked closely with the governor would argue she is truly ready to assume command of the most important, powerful nation on earth. To step in and juggle the demands of an economic meltdown, two deadly wars and a deteriorating climate crisis would stretch the governor beyond her range. Like picking Sen. McCain for president, putting her one 72-year-old heartbeat from the leadership of the free world is just too risky at this time." Ouch!

  • Campaign Volunteer Made up mugging story -- Ok, so she recanted. But, McCain/Palin ran with it at their rally's stating Obama supporter beats woman up -- inciting more racial slurs and tension-- McCain ahs yet to repudiate!

  • Sarah Palin going rogue --- With 10 days until Election Day, long-brewing tensions between GOP vice presidential candidate Gov. Sarah Palin and key aides to Sen. John McCain have become so intense, they are spilling out in public, sources say. Keep it up Sarah......:)

  • His campaign manager not only endorses Obama, but he voted for him! Ouch....

  • John McCain's brother call 911 for traffic complaint. Another angry McCain who feels he's entitled.

  • Former Minnesota Governor endorses Obama. One more for the good guy.

  • Republican Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger says Sarah Palin not qualified. She's not!

  • Maria Shriver states Arnold encouraged Sarah Palin to employ those with special needs. Hmmm, been in office 18+months and to date has yet to do so. What does this really say about what she will do for those with special needs. Put your money where your mouth is Sarah!

  • Republican Colin Powell endorses Obama. Says Sarah Palin not qualified. She's not!

  • Clothes for Sarah Palin $150,000! She has pretty hair.....

  • Racist mailer circulating in Texas. -- Is this their plan to win the election?!

  • Mitt Romney questions if Sarah Palin qualified! She's not.

  • Trying to ban gay marriage. How does this effect her?! What is she so fearful of? Does she hate gays?

  • Washington Post endorses Obama.

  • McCain to blame for the bail out. Republicans definition of socialism -- government getting involved. Hmmm, didn't they just try pinning that one on Barack?!?!

  • Unhinged Republican hatred. "Who knew that when you go around accusing Obama of being a foreigner, outsider, unpatriotic and basically a terrorist sympathizer Manchurian candidate it would unleash the frothing hatred that Republicans have been whipping up in the "base" all these years"?

  • Fareed Zakaria International Journalist endorses Obama.

  • McCain improperly solicits donations from foreign Government. We should just let this one slide, right?.

  • John McCain's involvement with the Keating scandal. The rich get richer....

  • SARAH PALIN VIOLATED ALASKA LAW AND ABUSED THE POWER OF HER OFFICE AS GOVERNOR.--- Clearly she is use to breaking the law...

Well, if I were a republican, I'M NOT I too would be jumping ship! You have to ask yourself, why intelligent, honorable, and respected REPUBLICANS are quickly crossing party lines to associate themselves with Obama?! We just discovered one of our bf's (teacher)who is/was a republican, has joined the Obama/Bidden team. When we asked why, he responded "the ticket is a joke. I can no longer watch the antics of McCain and Palin, it hurts my eyes". Me too.....

I invite intelligent comments, but non trackable comments will not be posted.

okay, so she didnt 'actually' break the law in the troopergate thing...but she did 'VIOLATE THE ETHICS CODE' when she put pressure on anyone who would listen to fire her BIL. She REFUSES to acknowledge that she broke the ethics code, she thinks SHE is innocent of everything...even when she has been confronted with the findings she still says she was found to have done nothing wrong...OMG!

As for publications and newspapers endorsing Obama, the list is so long and so impressive AND includes MANY of the national right leaning dailies! WOW! News magazines that are typically nonpartisan have endorsed OBAMA!

This is an ICONIC man, he will be an ICONIC President. I cannot understand people who cannot see this.

THIS IS THE CHANGE AMERICA NEEDS

and for those who don't think America needs change? Have a look around..we need someone to pull us out of this downward spiral..and Obama and his Democratic government are the right ones to do it! will it take time...YES...probably more than the first, or even second term, but if thats all we have, we need to get our 60 in the Senate and get moving!

ICONIC people...ICONIC! Think JFK, MLKjr...ICONIC!

For my children, my beautiful minority children...I will fight to make this country a place you can be proud to call yours.

Well you know that I'm voting for Obama. I grew up in an upper middle class conservative Republican family in the Chicago area. My parents BTW are voting for Obama. I believe our country needs positive change and that won't be coming with Mr. McCain.

Sing it, sister. McCain looks like he is going to stroke out at any given moment. Palin TERRIFIES me.

How can your girls get any more beautiful?
