New Wig

I've been feeling blah, blah, blah lately. I suppose it could have something to do with the extra five 10 pounds I'm carrying around like gum on my shoe. Or that my "squeeze box" doesn't hang on every word that I gush lately. Have I lost my "mojo"? I recall a time not so long ago where I was notorious for my famous sashaying dock walk. Boy could I turn a head or two. They were eager to park their car in my garage too. Baby I had it. I digress. I'm sure it comes as know surprise but I've always been a bit of a "snob" when it came to my appearance. Looking my best regardless of the price tag. Staying fit at the expense of grueling hours at the gym. Regular manicures, pedicure, massages, facials, and of course the hair. The. hair. My guy was convinced this was normal. Well, if he wanted to see the kitty. Cut dipped and clipped ready for a quick trip to the islands at a moments notice. Kitty too. I feel guilty that I have let my self go since brining the girls home. I rarely remember my lipstick before rushing out the door with shoe in hand as I jump in the car. Butt is expanding like a rubber band. Yes, things have changed. The girls are our priority. I'm not complaining. Really. I don't know how I allowed myself to get so out of shape and well, frumpy though. So, I scheduled an appointment to have my beehive coiffed. I knew I needed a little pick-up. A zinger. And then there it was. I knew this hair cut too. I made short and sassy way cute before her. I did! So, I braved it and whispered to the miracle worker what I was considering. What do you think?! I think I got my mojo back......

You're beautiful! You may have felt like you let your mojo go, but you never did. You just had your priorities in the right order, your girls. But hey, I hear ya, I've left the house many a time without any lipstick on. Sometimes you just have to stop and take care of mommy, because you know the famous saying, "if momma ain't happy, nobody's happy"! Love the haircut! Short and sassy!

I've never been to your blog before but I LOVE your haircut! And I know EXACTLY how you feel. I have two 3 yr. olds and ever since I retired 1 1/2 years ago I have gained weight and the outside world is "lucky" if I get make-up on my face! The bad thing is, I rarely care "what" I look like! I saw Laura's new haircut the other day on her blog and I have been thinking about getting a haircut too and maybe a bright new outlook!

Okay, that was really long for a first post....I'm kind of chatty!
Beautiful family by the way....

Looks great! It brings out your eyes- how can hubby resist?
I get to play dress up Sat for my Dh's work party. Unfortnately your hair cut won't work on me.
Turning Mom doesn't mean we are any less beautiful. Just better with peanut butter smears & the wild eyed look of "why is it all the sudden quiet!" LOL

LOve it Love it Love it!!! I totally love the short thing. I always keep my hair relativly short. I thought having flowing long locks would be sexy but my hubby likes the short hair-- fine by me!! Anyway, love your hair and you look wonderful!!!

I think you look smashing....I think I am feeling the same right about now.....I think I just need sun, sand and palm trees. Although losing 10 lbs would help.

I want to see your rubbery buns! *wink*

Girl,
You are the source of mojo. You could never lose it. You are definitely the Eva Longoria of Bloggerville Lane.
And you are the person who gave me the great advice that encouraged me to get my man in for a sleep study. So, thank you.

The hair is never a source of your sass FYI.
You look great with a mop on your head, seeing as though I'd never see it in your hands LOL!
Girl you got it goin' on, that's for sure, never doubt that.

You look great! I went through a stage while my kids were young where I just didn't have the time or energy to care. It gets better. Love the new "do". Getting your hair done is a sure pic-me-up. I did mine this week too!
