All Grown Up

My how we've all grown up! For those of you who don't know I am one of 4 girls. No boys. And, I am the oldest, although I don't think I look like the oldest! *snort*. There is only five years between me and my youngest sister (the one I share a middle name with).

Yes, that's me with hand on head who appears to be saying "oh bother"! I had bigger and better plans for the day I'm sure. We were 6,54, and 2.

This picture was taken at my youngest sisters(the one with the long hair) high school graduation. Love the "poodle" doo's that the rest of us our sporting. We were such a fashion statement. Well, we thought we were. Lol. I don't think I've ever seen more ruffles or lace in my life! We were 23,22,21 and 18.

This picture unfortunately was taken 2 years(January 2005) ago at my cousins (died unexpectedly at 47) funeral. It had been a long time since all four of us had been in the same state at the same time. Even though it was such a sad occassion I loved being with my sisters. We were 44, 43, 41 and 39. Yes, V4 could still say she was in her 30's!!
P.S. Just returned from trip to Ohio. Thank you for all of your kindness. Great trip, but boy are we tired.... I've missed you all. I will be catching up with you later. Be still. It may take me a while to get back into the groove.

You and the sister sitting closest to you have the very same eyes. Yes the poodle do's make you look almost like triplets, almost.

Thank you for visiting my blog, and thank you for your words of encouragement, this crap has been going on since I was 21, and now I am 40 and its coming out. With all of your history your doctor only has to word her Diagnosis the right way and your insurance will pay!!!! Also thank you for the DREAMS COME TRUE post, it brought the tears that I have been fighting over this damn wait, I really try to be optimistic but it is so darn hard. Those tears needed to comeout and it felt good!! I too know what it feels like to have someone hand you a baby that you certainly know that God created especially for you and WOW there are no word are there. God bless you , and I hope you don't mind but I am going to put your blog on mine as a link, you can do the same if you would like to. I am one of 3 girls and I think I am going to put some old pics of us on my blog, even though we are from a small town and everyone knows us as the "Friederick" girls and people see us all the time, I think it is a special tribute to sisterhood, so thank you for the idea and thank you for entering my life.
Love you, Kristy

thank God you're back! I had to endure the flu without you and your loving yet snarky commentary. Barely survived...

forgot to mention, 3 sisters! WOW! I have no sisters except soul sistas like you, of course. 2 older brothers that are 5 and 6 years older and were very protective as teenagers! Umphhh...

Welcome home!!! What a bunch of lovely "barbie dolls"!!! Gotta love the "off the shoulder" dresses and pumps!
You know that the high school girls are presently wearing the clothes from your yesterday's closet?! It's so true. Everyday, I see them wear stuff that I once owned and said that I would never wear again....like... leg warmers. Remember those? I bet you do? C'mon how many pairs and colors did you have?
Enjoy getting back into your groove,
Amy

3 sisters?! Lucky you...I am an only girl in a family of 4 siblings. I have always desperately wanted a sister (the youngest was supposed to be "the sister"). The sister sitting beside you looks amazingly like you......
You look fantastic, much better without the poodle do!

Mr. Bruce aka formely known as Mr. Brian (hee-hee). Yes, you are a little brown noser---but no I am not the one with the chocolate brown mane. I'm on the opposite end with the "sexy" off the shoulder dress that says "your place or mine"?! lol.... We were a trip!

Missed you all.

great pictures,
I am glad the trip was a good one. Hope it lifted your dad's spirits.

I've started to feel like garbage that the moosh isn't going to have a sister anywhere close to her age. I'd have to have three babies by now if I were to keep up with your sister count.
That makes me tired.
