Yester year.....
It's Friday and you know what time that means. A blast from the past!
It wasThanksgiving(guessing by the bird in the picture) 1984 and if I recall I was at the Holiday Inn picking up naturally our Thanksgiving Day gourmet dinner. Can you use Holiday Inn and gourment in the same sentence? This was long before I had mastered the art of cooking. I was 23 at the time.
A real fashion plate back then! Clearly.

Is the bird Ron Jeremy? Oh my...
1984 I was ... in 8th grade I think. I've got to get a new scanner, so I can do some of these 'blast from the past' posts!
You sure were one hot ticket!
Oh, and is that blue leather or 'pleather'?
Sophie's Mom just stole my line, is that Ron Jeremy, ha ha ha. Too funny!!
As usual, one hot Momma!
Hi! I'm Holly and my family has also adopted a little girl from China, named Grace. Your daughters are gorgeous. Please feel free to visit my blog as well!

HA HA HA Ha I thought the guy looked like Ron Jeremy too!
Is it really him?
And I didn't know Ron and Jon Bon Jovi were friends.....
OMG you were such a baby! Love that 80's look. SHAME on you ladies for mentioning Ron Jeremy, you are not suppossed to know about him. Shame on you!
I think that IS Ron Jeremy and if it is WHAT are you doing with him? I hope nothing X rated! I have never quite understood why he was in "movies"; aren't they all supposed to be tight, toned and sexy? I use those words loosely!
Um, yeah in 1984 I was 11 but I still know who Ron Jeremy is (did not know him at his peak) and thanks to VH1 Celebrity Surreal Life I think alot of today's tweens and teens know who he is. Gack! I think I just vomited a little in my mouth!

NO, that is not Ron Jeremy! Good lord ladies..... I just found out WHO Ron Jeremy is by my young cutie pie assistant! I might need to turn the T.V. on and tune in. ha ha...
Why am I so clueless? I'm now afraid to google this "Ron Jeremy" here at work!!
yea, don't google it at work.... the ron jeremy/jon bon jovi comment was my favorite! I am going to have to tune in every Friday. I think I was in the 8th grade in '84. The picture is awesome and i love the one with the thong from a few weeks back. This is fun!
Hmm...I was 15.
Ok, don't all of you rub it in that I am OLD. Shzzzz, my self esteem has been ruined.....
THe 80's were great but now they just make me roar with laughter!
You are brafe showing us your savvy fashionista side.
I was 10 in 1984. HA HA HA HA HA. Yeah, I wish. I was in high school. And I didn't have the normal 80s hair. I was a punker. Someday, maybe, I'll share those days with you.
I'm gonna be FORTY in December. I am embracing this. I am embracing this. I am embracing this.
Rony,
The comments you left on my last blog are so sweet! :) Thanks....I esp needed that last one. Ed's out of town this weekend (his annual Boy's Weekend in Boston)so I'm running solo. Last night (so highly unusual),the girls just cried most of night and I could never figure out why. So, I'm very cranky and tired this morning but when I just read your comment, it cheered me up immensely.
When it gets cooler...maybe end-of-Sept... let's all meet at King's Dominion or that other big amusement park near Williamsburg (what's that called?).
Hugs,
Cindy
oh, Busch Garden, right?
Okay.. I am loving the hair... and the outfit is rocking..
You are so funny..
Have a great weekend..
By the way I was 13 at the time..
Cute chicken..

Ok I did google Ron Jeremey and all I can say is "eeeeeewwwww--- gross"! He actually looks like Sudam Hussein too!! Grosssssssssss
HA HA
how long did that feather job take you to perfect
and how much aqua net is holding it together???
Can you say, "Olivia Newton John?". She came to my mind immediately after seeing your pretty little face sitting on? (I do not know this Ron Jeremy character either)......
Funny you mention the "feathered" hair. It took up to two hours for that "do". I kept aqua net in biz.
love the jacket and the hair!! Is that your husband starring as the bird?
I will refrain from any turkey/stuffing comments. I've seen that turkey somewhere before....
Ah the days of big hair and parachute paints. I was feeling nostalgic and listening to some Air Supply just yesterday...
My husband was just a babe back then! Seriously....
I loved Air Supply too..
